I was torn between giving these a 4 or 5 and finally decided on a 4 because I do think they should be able to make these a little less "scratchy" than they are. I took the advice of other reviewers and washed them before wearing, but they were still a bit scratchy. I imagine after a few more washings, they'll be fine.
That being said, they are good quality, nicely priced thermals. They are thin enough to fit under just about everything, and they keep me very warm - after a few washings, I think they will be my favorite thermals, but right now I have others that are a little softer that I like better.

The warmer is nice, but the inseam could be a little better. It is just too large for the small size of the warmer. The elastic around the waist could also be of better quality. Once in your body, the warmer works fine for mild winter weather.

Washed first before wearing as suggested. The really cold weather hasn't started yet, so I haven't had to wear them o/t trying on for fit before washing. They seem fine although the rise is slightly short and they ride a bit low on the waist. I can't see where that will be any kind of a problem, just an observation. The matching top works great.

This particular product is a lighter weight thermal bottom which wasn't specifically stated, but it turned out to be ideal for late winter /early spring wear. The range of sizes available was the reason for ordering the product.
